Ingham Rentals with heavy heart has been forced to shut down.

1 February, 2021

It is with great sadness to announce that family owned and operated Ingham Rentals business has been unable to withstand the coronavirus pandemic that has crippled global travel. As a result of the New Zealand border closure, Ingham Rentals Rental with its fleet of well-equipped, great-to-drive rental vehicles, experienced a significant reduction in business revenue since March 2020 and the decision to close its rental business was inevitable.

The latest decisions to protect all New Zealanders by closing the border presented the most significant challenge to the business since launching in 2018. It has forced management to explore all opportunities, however the impact on the industry has been devastating.

“Since the pandemic began, we have undertaken a range of measures to reduce costs and ensure we keep the business as robust as possible, but today we have to announce that the rentals business will close its doors effective immediately.”, said Trent Ingham, General Manager of Inghamdriven.

Please note, all existing bookings and credits held with Ingham Rentals will be honoured as we are able. We ask any customers who have questions about a future booking with Ingham Rentals to call us on 0800 871 563 (International: +64 800 871 563) or to complete the form below.

We sincerely hope that our locations will be able to open and help you with your rental needs – whether for business or leisure purposes, once borders are open again.
